Job Overview:
* This role involves the analysis and design of rail mounted machines for materials handling industries.
* The position requires conducting field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's civil/structural aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of civil/structural engineering, including design layouts, details, drawings, and specifications.
* Design structures using advanced knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering.
* Analyze problems with conflicting design requirements and develop possible solutions.
* Prepare procurement and subcontract requisition documents and perform associated technical bid evaluations.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a comprehensive understanding of civil/structural engineering principles.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and possess 8-10 years of relevant experience.
A strong background in DIN ISO and Australian Standards for designing and constructing rail mounted machines is essential.
