About the Role
As a trainee, you'll work closely with clients to provide compassionate care and support, including:
* Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care
* Supporting clients' independence and wellbeing
* Implementing care plans and activity programs
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Preparing and cooking meals
What You'll Gain:
* A nationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) over 24 months
* Hands-on experience working directly with clients in the community
* Confidence supporting people with diverse needs and abilities
* Mastery of communication, empathy, and practical care skills
* Clear pathways for career progression in disability and aged care sectors
What You'll Need:
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Availability for shift work including days, nights, and weekends
* Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
* First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Check and orientation modules
* Physically fit and calm under pressure
* Commitment to inclusive care and CA Care Services' values
Desirable (but not essential): Previous experience in disability, aged care, or independent support; report writing; leadership skills; and a willingness to learn.
