Senior Sales Engineer

Key Experience: Pre‑sales engineering within enterprise software, data protection, cyber resilience, and public sector environments.
This role plays a critical part in supporting federal customers by bridging complex business challenges with robust, secure, and scalable technical solutions. As a senior technical advisor within a federal sales environment, you will work closely with sales, partners, and customers to shape solutions that drive resilience, protect critical data, and enable confident decision‑making at the highest levels of government.
Your duties will include:
* Partnering with sales teams to develop territory plans and account strategies
* Leading technical discovery, solution design, and pre‑sales engagements
* Delivering compelling product demonstrations, white‑boarding sessions, and executive presentations
* Supporting proof‑of‑value activities and cloud architecture discussions
* Building trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders
* Providing enablement and technical guidance to partners and internal teams
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
* Extensive experience in pre‑sales or sales engineering within software or storage environments
* Strong background in data management, backup and recovery, security, and cyber resilience solutions
* Experience working with Australian Public Sector or Federal Government clients
* Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern infrastructure technologies
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
