The Role
This newly created position will offer someone who wants to make a difference and be part of Australia's fastest growing professional services group. You'll join a new sustainability consulting practice within HPX, at an exciting time to join the team.
You'll work closely with the Head of Sustainability Consulting, influencing and shaping the direction of this business and global client base. This role can be completed from any HPX office or remotely, offering flexibility and autonomy.
Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist consulting advice to global clients across our capabilities framework.
* Leverage better practice sustainability methodologies to support client problems.
* Engage and communicate with clients, supplying relevant guidance across global jurisdictions.
* Carry out independent research to support pieces of work and assessments, such as ESG materiality, readiness, and gap assessments.
You'll also:
* Coach and train junior team members.
* Project budget tracking and management.
* Develop templates, processes, and integrate innovative technologies.
* Lead thought leadership on sustainability topics.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
* 5+ years of experience working in sustainability consulting environments.
* Tertiary qualifications related to sustainability, environment, human rights, and/or project management.
* Experience in climate change mitigation/ GHG emissions, climate change adaptation/resilience, natural capital, community engagement, and investment.
You should have technical knowledge and experience with sustainability disclosure regulations and frameworks, including ASRS/AASB mandatory, NGER, ACCUs, ISSB/IFRS, EU CSRD, EU SFDR, EU CBAM, UK SDR, China CSDS, Climate Active, GRI, SASB, Accounting for Nature.
You'll need advanced skills with data and generating data insights, strong engagement and project management skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
