We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Baker to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
As a Baker, you will be responsible for the preparation and production of a wide range of breads and bakery products, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of the baking process.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing, mixing, kneading, shaping, and baking a variety of breads, rolls, and specialty products
* Following Bakers Delight recipes and production schedules to maintain product consistency
* Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to ensure quality outcomes
* Checking the quality of raw ingredients and finished products
* Operating and maintaining baking equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards
* Managing stock levels, rotating ingredients, and minimising wastage
* Working collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets
* Assisting with product presentation and maintaining display standards
Requirements
* Certificate III in Baking or a related qualification, or at least 2–3 years of relevant work experience
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dough handling
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* A positive attitude and strong team player mindset
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene

* Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification OR minimum 3 years' relevant commercial baking experience
* At least 2 years' post-qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production
* Strong understanding of dough fermentation, baking processes, and quality control
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and under pressure
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
