Job Description:
The Business Support Manager oversees the planning and delivery of effective business services across various streams, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and governance best practices.
* Liaise with operational teams to guarantee adequate service delivery, procurement, financial management, human resources, and administrative support.
* Develop operational budgets and provide accurate management accounting reports to stakeholders.
* Monitor and analyse various reports to identify potential issues and ensure corrective action is taken promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Leadership Experience:
* Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving business outcomes.
Financial Management Expertise:
* Sound knowledge of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Procurement and Supply Chain Management:
* Ability to negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure timely, cost-effective solutions.
Human Resources and ICT Expertise:
* Experience in managing HR functions, including training, allocation, and recruitment.
* Understanding of ICT requirements and ability to negotiate with suppliers.
Public Sector Experience:
* Knowledge of Queensland Public Service values and QAS's approach to zero tolerance towards violence and commitment to supporting those affected by domestic and family violence.
