The Role
As a Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in
ensuring the highest quality in software designed to improve healthcare
technology. You'll work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to
create and automate tests, assess testability, and ensure that the software
meets rigorous quality standards. This is an exciting chance to apply your
testing expertise in a purpose-driven environment, where your work directly
contributes to advancements in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing software
requirements and specifications to design both manual and automated tests.
* Executing and improving test
procedures for optimal software testing efficiency.
* Identifying, documenting, and
reporting defects and errors through both manual and automated testing.
* Collaborating with developers
to diagnose and resolve issues discovered during testing.
* Automating test processes to
enhance testing effectiveness and speed.
* Conducting post-release
testing to ensure requirements are met and software works as expected.
* Working across teams to
ensure quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
Your Career So Far
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Test
Engineer or in a similar role with test automation exposure.
* Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
* Exposure to Jira, GitHub, or
similar tools.
* Proven effective written and
verbal communication skills.
* A desire to work both
independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with different
development methodologies.
Desirable:
* Exposure to AWS and Azure
cloud services.
* Experience with API testing
and tools.
* Testing experience in a
healthcare or regulated environment.
