The Role
We are seeking a hospitality focused Trainer Assessor.
The job includes conducting assessments of students performing hospitality tasks and supporting teachers where required with delivery advice and assistance.
Other tasks may include the delivery of workplace based training and assessment with trainees enrolled in hospitality/cookery traineeships and mentoring of apprentice chefs.
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Hospitality Qualifications equivalent to (or more than) the area of delivery and assessment.
Prefer to Certificate III Hospitality or Certificate III Commercial Cookery
Recent practical experience in the hospitality industry (front and/or back of house)
Current Working with Children check
Drivers Licence
Attributes
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Excellent presentation skills
Experience working with youth
Ability to work autonomously
Good knowledge of vocational education and training in WA, and school based training systems
