A leading civil and utilities contractor delivering essential water infrastructure across NSW is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join its Sydney-based team.
The Role
As Senior Project Engineer, you'll drive the engineering, planning and execution of a newly awarded Sydney Water project.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead engineering delivery for Sydney Water infrastructure works
* Oversee design review, procurement, planning and daily operations
* Manage quality assurance, ITPs, technical documentation and reporting
* Support construction teams to ensure safety, environmental and compliance standards
* Monitor cost, schedule and risk, providing accurate forecasts and updates
* Mentor junior engineers and promote a strong, proactive project culture
* Interface with clients, consultants and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships
About You
* Degree-qualified Civil/Environmental Engineer (or related discipline)
* Strong experience in water infrastructure, pipelines, sewer, or utilities projects
* Demonstrated capability delivering complex works in live or brownfield environments
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
* Strong understanding of Sydney Water standards and delivery requirements
* Valid Australian working rights and current driver's licence
