**About The Opportunity**:
As a **Service / Installation Technician**, you will be responsible for operating in the Greater Brisbane area, providing technical support and solutions to customers. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and maintaining security and access control systems
- Setting up and troubleshooting CCTV and intercoms
- Configuring and managing IT networking, including WiFi and data networks
- Installing and supporting home automation solutions
- Reading electrical plans and wiring plans for data
- Testing and fault finding, planning cable runs and engaging with customers
- Taking responsibility for job planning and stock levels
**About You**:
- 5+ years of experience in a Service / Installation based role
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: security and access control, CCTV, intercoms, Audio Visual, IT networking, and home automation solutions
- An open Australian driver's license
- A police check or willingness to obtain one
- A construction industry white card
You will also have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A clean and neat personal presentation
- An autonomous and initiative-driven work style
- The ability to be resourceful and complete additional jobs on time
