Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer
Geelong | 6 Month Contract | Hybrid
A senior IAM specialist is required to join a program delivery team supporting enterprise identity and access management initiatives. This is a 6-month contract based in Geelong with a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 remote).
This role will provide technical leadership across the design, build and enhancement of identity and access management solutions. You will work across business-critical applications, lead IAM integrations, and support improvement initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities
* Designing and implementing identity and access management solutions
* Leading IAM integrations across internal and third-party systems
* Applying RBAC, MFA, conditional access and privileged access management principles
* Supporting production troubleshooting and service restoration where required
* Contributing to solution design reviews and technical documentation
* Participating in scoping workshops and providing effort estimates
Key experience required
* Strong hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, NetIQ or One Identity
* Experience with privileged access management tools such as CyberArk or Entra PIM
* IAM integration experience including federation and SSO
* Experience with PowerShell scripting and directory services
* Understanding of IAM control frameworks such as NIST or ISO
* Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders
This role is suited to a senior IAM professional who combines strong hands-on capability with structured thinking and enterprise-level integration experience.
