PGC Training is seeking applications enthusiastic, motivated individuals with a great work attitude looking to begin their career as a Boilermaker/Welder in the Perth area. Current apprentices (1st, 2nd or 3rd Year) are encouraged to apply.
The Boilermaking/welding apprenticeship is a 48-month hands-on program that combines on-the-job and off-the-job training. Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will work under the guidance of experienced and qualified boilermaker/welders in the workplace and undertake classroom-based and practical training and assessments.
Working as an apprentice Boilermaker/Welder you will learn to produce metal fabricated products such as structures, frames, plate assemblies, pipework and vessels using tools, welding and thermal cutting equipment, and fabrication techniques.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification MEM***** Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) and be issued with a Western Australian Trade Certificate.

Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
Reliable, flexible, and honest.
Ability to work as part of a team
Hold a Valid 'C' Class Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
A positive attitude - you will learn the skills and gain experience
Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident)
Minimum C grade in Year 10 Maths and English (or equivalent)
Strong commitment to safe work practices, policies, and procedures
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen
Completed a pre-apprenticeship certificate: MEM***** Certificate II in Engineering or MEM***** Certificate II in Engineering Pathways.
Full time employment contract - earn while you learn (paid weekly)
Completion of a Nationally Recognised Qualification (MEM***** Certificate III in Engineering- Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding))
