Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
**Your Opportunity**:
The Advanced Carer Peer Worker will deliver a competent carer support service, as a member of the muti-disciplinary team to optimise carer participation. This may include:
Ensuring consumer, carer and family perspectives are included in all aspects of multidisciplinary care, health service planning, delivery and evaluation.
Assisting staff within CYMHS in their aim to provide a child and family-centred service.
Communicate the broad views of consumers, carers and families across the CYMHS Service and other relevant services.
