About the role
GIG Radiology Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and passionate Radiographer to join our team in Pakenham. As a Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilising state-of-the-art equipment to deliver exceptional patient care.
What you'll be doing
* Performing a variety of radiographic examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging procedures
* Ensuring the safe and effective operation of radiographic equipment
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
* Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines
* Continuously improving your skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification as a Radiographer, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Radiography
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiographer
* Excellent technical skills and a deep understanding of radiographic techniques and equipment
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, safe patient care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
* Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant software
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Radiographer is a mandatory requirement
