About the Role
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-franchise dealership in Gladstone seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a high-performing service department.
This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing a busy operation generating around 85 repair orders per day, supported by a team of 25 productive staff.
You'll be responsible for driving efficiency, improving profitability, and creating a culture of accountability and performance across the department.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of a high-volume service department
* Drive workshop productivity and maximise repair order throughput
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians and service advisors
* Improve gross profit through workflow optimisation and upselling initiatives
* Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention outcomes
* Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
About You
* Proven experience as a Service Manager within a dealership environment
* Strong understanding of workshop operations and financial drivers
* Ability to lead large teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
* Commercial mindset with a focus on performance and profitability
* Confident communicator with strong leadership presence
