The Role The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) at the Agency has commenced a review of current tools, frameworks and processes and is embarking on an exciting journey of implementing key findings and recommendations. Each functional stream in the EPMO includes Portfolio Analysts who will work collaboratively to support their respective Directors and Managers to ensure that they uplift and embed best practice across programs and projects.The APS6 Portfolio Analyst will provide detailed professional advice in relation to complex problems and may assist in strategic planning, program and project management and policy development. This role will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to difficult or sensitive issues and may liaise with a range of stakeholders, supporting the relationships and interfaces between the EPMO and portfolio delivery functions. Key to the role is the following: Solutions focused with well-honed critical analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience in undertaking assurance activities including project health checks and gate assuranceHigh level of knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel, Project and Office systems including Office 365Experience in supporting portfolio prioritisation and planningKnowledge or experience in project management methodologies.
