Information Systems Academic Position
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our academic team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Information Systems. This is a pivotal role that will contribute to advancing research and teaching within our world-ranked department.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary Faculty organized into three key areas; Computing and Information Systems, Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, and Electrical, Mechanical and Infrastructure Engineering.
The successful candidate will conduct high-quality research, publish in top-tier journals, and secure external funding to support their research program. They will also deliver engaging courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, embracing innovative teaching methods and technologies.
Additionally, the appointee will build partnerships with industry and government stakeholders, enhancing the real-world impact of their teaching and research. They will also supervise research students, contribute to curriculum development, and take on leadership roles within the department and university.
This position offers a unique chance to collaborate with internationally respected groups across multiple disciplines and contribute to university-wide digital initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Hold a PhD in Information Systems or a closely aligned discipline.
* Have a proven publication record in high-quality IS journals and conferences.
* Possess expertise in areas relevant to Information Systems research such as IS user behaviours, Business analytics and decision making, Information Systems management, Cybersecurity management, digital innovation, or closely related fields.
* Demonstrate the ability to secure research funding and supervise graduate students.
* Have experience in developing and delivering engaging courses in information systems.
* Show a commitment to fostering industry partnerships and interdisciplinary collaboration.
