About the Role
As a pivotal team member, you will be entrusted with overseeing projects from inception to completion. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely delivery, within established parameters, and in alignment with organisational objectives.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Planning, organising, and directing project completion within specified time frames, budgets, and scopes
* Building effective communication and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Effective project planning, including cost and schedule estimation as required
* Undertaking risk analysis and developing project planning artefacts
* Understanding commercial processes, including cost control, project reporting, procurement, and contract management
* Ensuring compliance with customer and company safety, quality, and business processes
* Keeping stakeholders updated through accurate project reporting
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary engineering qualifications in construction management or project management
* Previous experience working on Defence projects
* Construction White Card and current driver's license
* Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance
* Competency in Project Management software (e.g., Microsoft Professional Suite, MS Project, Primavera) and ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, Oracle e-business)
* Experience leading, managing, and motivating teams
* Problem-solving and innovative approach, with the ability to work under pressure
