To excel in this role, you should possess: Possession of a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or Accounting that provides eligibility for membership to ICAA, CPA or IPA. Substantial management accounting experience (including budgeting) in a medium to large capital-intensive organisation within an accrual-based environment, and ability to resolve accounting related problems. Substantial experience in the use of complex financial management systems in an operational environment as well as sound expertise using Excel spreadsheets.
Well‑developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders on a range of accounting, finance and operational matters; communicate effectively with both finance and non‑finance audiences; work collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals; and develop, engage and provide direction to others.
