Chocolate Destinations Group is recruiting for an experienced, capable, hands-on Retail Manager to lead our amazing retail team at our stunning Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery.
This important and exciting role will see you working closely with the Operations Manager leading a business that welcomes 800,000 visitors each year!
Together, with our Operations Manager, you will be building on our well-established base of committed team members and loyal customers, to expand and develop a capable team that can support the ongoing growth the Chocolaterie continues to experience.

· Proven success in leading multiple retail/hospitality locations
· A coaching-led leadership style – developing, mentoring and empowering teams is what you do best.
· Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach – you love shaping the big picture while rolling up your sleeves to execute the detail.
· A strong eye for visual merchandising and brand presentation – you know how to create an inviting, premium and commercial in-store environment.
· A passion for premium products and unforgettable customer experiences – storytelling and sensory immersion come naturally to you.
· Experience in a fast paced, energetic, dynamic environment – you love a busy, bustling pace
Your Role
The Retail Manager will support the execution of the day-to-day operations across the retail showroom including -
Leading & Developing the Team
· Coach, mentor and develop our retail team
Driving Commercial & Operational Excellence
· Own retail performance, including sales budget, labour management and cost control
· Ensure consistent execution of operational standards, policies and procedures
Creating Exceptional Customer Experiences
· Bring The Chocolateries brand story to life through excellent service and immersive in-store experiences
· Champion service excellence and resolve complex customer issues with confidence
Safety & Role Modelling
· Model The Chocolateries values of Caring, Commitment and Creativity
· Lead proactive health, safety and wellbeing practices
The position is permanent full time, working 5 days per week and includes working weekend days and public holidays. No nights! The Chocolaterie is open 7 days per week from 9am to 5pm.
