An excellent opportunity exists for a recent graduate – 1-year PAE lawyer to join our team as a Planning and Environment lawyer. This position is a great opportunity for the right person to build their career in this field. Experience is not essential, but the successful applicant should have an interest in these areas of law.
The planning team specialises in providing solution-focused advice and representation to developers, investors and local councils on a diverse range of matters including:
• Development applications and planning appeals;
• Heritage (Indigenous and European);
• Environmental obligations and incidents;
• Amendment of planning schemes;
• Enforcement and prosecution of unauthorised use and development; and
• Judicial review of administrative decisions.
To be successful in this role you must:
• be able to build and maintain positive client and team member relationships;
• have effective time management skills;
• have the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines; and
• achieve technical excellence.
