Enfra is a rapidly growing electrical, infrastructure, and maintenance business delivering projects and services across the Northern Territory and Queensland. With operations in Darwin, Alice Springs, Cairns, and Townsville, we work across commercial, industrial, utilities, infrastructure, defence, and maintenance sectors.
As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and capable Accounts & Finance Officer / Management Accountant to join our team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the group.
This is more than a standard accounts role. We are looking for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting functions while also assisting management with forecasting, reporting, cashflow planning, and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
* Processing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments
* Debtor management and client follow-up
* Payroll support and general finance administration
* Preparation and lodgement of BAS and other statutory requirements
* Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Cashflow forecasting and financial reporting
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and project financial tracking
* Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
* Assisting management with financial analysis and operational reporting
* Working alongside project teams to monitor costs, WIP, and financial performance
* Supporting continuous improvement of internal financial systems and processes
* Liaising with external accountants, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping roles
* Has strong knowledge of AR/AP processes and financial reporting
* Has experience preparing BAS lodgements and reconciliations
* Understands forecasting, budgeting, and cashflow management
* Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Can manage competing priorities in a growing business environment
* Has strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Is proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks
* Has experience with accounting and business management software (Xero experience highly regarded)
* Construction, infrastructure, or project-based industry experience is highly regarded
