**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 9-month contract paying up to $54/Hour + Super. This role is located in Parramatta with WFH options.

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a HR Project Officer with a leading NSW Government agency. This role is responsible for providing program and project management support services with a focus on HR, recruitment and workforce management.
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Selection Panel Report Writing: Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing the panel's evaluations and recommendations for hiring decisions.
- Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with various internal stakeholders within the organization to understand their recruitment needs, provide regular updates, and ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Support for Program Initiatives: Assist in the implementation and coordination of program initiatives related to HR, recruitment, and workforce management, contributing to the overall success of the program.
- General Administration: Perform administrative tasks such as organizing and filing confidential documents, updating databases, and utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF) for data management and document preparation.
- End-to-End Recruitment Support: Utilize hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment processes to support BAU recruitment activities. This includes raising requisitions, managing CVs, updating reporting tracking systems, and serving as a liaison between Hiring Managers and the talent acquisition team.
**About You**
- Government experience is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of HR and recruitment
- Strong report writing and written communication skills
- Previous customer service within complex organisation
- High attention to detail
- Microsoft Office - basic Excel, intermediate Word and basic Adobe PDF
**Highly Desirable**
- Ability to interpret online psychometric assessments results
- Understanding of the GSE Act and Employment Rules as well as the NSW Capability Framework
- Experience with Page Up
