About the role
A senior cyber security solution architect is required to lead security uplift activities and guide secure‐by‐design practices across complex government ICT environments. This role focuses on reducing security risk, shaping technology strategy and ensuring alignment with ACSC, ASD, ISM and PSPF requirements.
Responsibilities
You'll provide expert security architecture advice, support secure solution design, and lead cyber uplift activities including Essential Eight implementation. The role involves reviewing application and integration designs, raising security awareness, and guiding stakeholders across technical and non‐technical areas.
What you'll bring
* Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and services
* Experience implementing Essential Eight in Government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders
* Strong Federal Government cyber security experience
* Expertise in secure‐by‐design practices and vulnerability reduction
* Experience applying PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight to system designs
Desirable
* Understanding of Operational Technologies

Benefits
Casual Loading: For all Australian based contract and temporary roles, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
