Join the energetic and innovative Student Administration team at Swinburne University of Technology. This full-time, ongoing position is based at our Hawthorn campus and offers a HEW 7 salary + 17% super.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Curriculum Implementation, this role is responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely input of VET curriculum data into the Student Management System. This work is essential to ensuring smooth downstream processes and supports efficient, high-quality student administration.
The role ensures curriculum data is maintained in line with the annual collection cycle and complies with quality, integrity, and compliance standards across systems, including course search.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and improving curriculum data management processes and building strong working relationships with VET Education & Quality, Teaching and Learning teams, and Student Administration. The position ensures all curriculum-related data—such as study plans, timetabling, assessments, and fees—is complete and accurate to support student transactions.
About You: To be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in influencing, developing, and implementing policy, ensuring adherence to standard processes and/or government legislation in a large complex organisation
- Demonstrated ability to make a significant contribution to the University including the provision of authoritative advice relating to areas of responsibility, the development of strategic and operational plans, and the design and implementation of process improvements
- A sound understanding of the Australian university and VE sectors and their interrelationships with State and Federal Government processes and structures
- Knowledge of student systems, preferably experience in project and/or operational use of Technology One Student Management System
Qualifications: Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
