We are a respected Australian leader in commercial and industrial HVACR services and we are growing. We need a dedicated professional ICT Support Technician to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues for AMS staff.
Diagnose and resolve faults for computers, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
Set up new workstations and perform routine system updates, patches, and maintenance.
Monitor network performance and assist with troubleshooting LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, and switches.
Support cybersecurity measures, including device security, passwords, and data protection.
Assist with data backups, recovery procedures, and system security protocols.
Support server and system administration tasks, including user account setup and access management.
Provide remote IT support using authorised tools for staff working off-site.
Maintain IT asset records for hardware, software licences, and equipment tracking.
Prepare basic technical documentation, troubleshooting notes, and user guides.
Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users and ensure quality customer service.
Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and network improvements.
Contribute to system performance monitoring and identifying areas for optimisation.
Attend regular training reviews and apply skills from the structured training program.
Qualifications
1+ year of full-time experience in ICT support or related field.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, networking fundamentals, and cybersecurity best practices.
