Quality & Food Safety Officer Night Shift

About the role: This permanent night shift position works 10pm – 6am, and requires you to maintain high‑quality standards, drive continuous improvements, and act as a back‑up supervisor when needed.
What you'll be responsible for:
* Support site quality and food safety performance, working closely with operations and cross‑functional teams.
* Drive audit readiness, continuous improvement and GMP best practices.
* Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits and HACCP reviews.
* Lead investigations into consumer complaints, non‑conforming materials and production issues.
* Provide training and guidance to the production team on quality and food safety systems.
* Contribute to root‑cause investigations and data‑driven problem solving.
What you'll bring to the role:
* A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Science or related field.
* 2+ years' experience in food safety or quality assurance.
* Practical knowledge of HACCP principles and internal auditing.
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
* The ability to manage time effectively and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
