We are seeking an experienced and accomplished professional to fill the role of Assistant Director at our esteemed early learning centre. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader to leverage their expertise, inspire and motivate their team, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
In this role, you will support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and building capabilities within the centre team, managing the centre in the Centre Director's absence, and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned early learning professional with a proven track record of leadership and innovation. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to foster respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and the local community.
About the Role:
* Support the Centre Director in leading the team to deliver exceptional early learning and care
* Mentor and develop capabilities within the centre team
* Manage the centre in the Centre Director's absence
* Implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Centre Director to set goals and objectives for the centre
* Develop and implement strategies to improve centre operations and outcomes
* Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and performance
* Build and maintain strong relationships with families and the local community
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in early childhood education
* Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
