The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on leader to oversee our Grading Team, drive operational improvements, and ensure the highest quality egg production. You’ll play a key role in leading staff, managing day-to-day operations and contributing to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, train, and engage the Grading and Delivery teams, building a positive and secure workplace culture
- Manage rosters, staffing resources and team performance
- Monitor egg quality, maintain operational standards, and drive improvements across production and delivery
- Collect and use operational data to optimise efficiency and quality
- Coordinate deliveries, manage logistics, and oversee order fulfilment
- Maintain grading machines and equipment, working with contractors as needed
- Manage packaging and production supplies, including supplier orders and inventory
- Contribute to business-wide improvements and provide input to senior leadership
About you
- Experience managing a food production facility and leading a team
- Comfortable with Technology or willing to learn
- Flexible, resilient, and able to perform under pressure
- Solutions-focused, proactive, and able to work independently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Holds full working rights in Australia
