We are seeking a QA/QC Officer with construction and/or engineering experience. This role is responsible for carrying out all activities for pre‐pour and post‐pour physical checks of precast panels/products to ensure they meet the project requirements and quality standards. The QA/QC Officer is predominately situated in the factory and this is a physical/hands on role.
Key Responsibilities
* Review project documents and drawings to understand project requirements
* Develop, coordinate and undertake pre‐pour and post‐pour quality inspections, including associated physical checks of the precast products and prepare required records
* Complete QA documents as per company standards
* Upload all QA documentation and records to the company server daily
* Provide quality control and assurance on all products
* Document overview and regular review of records
* Distribute project MDR to relevant clients
* Interact with production and procurement teams to ensure quality requirements from external suppliers are met
* Conduct quality control/assurance inspections and provide final compliance sign‐off upon completion
* Develop ITPs and quality MDR submissions for clients
* Provide technical advice and develop solutions
* Examine and file all kinds of production records
* Facilitate continuous development and improvement of quality assurance procedures
* Work with management to ensure appropriate systems, processes and procedures are researched, developed and implemented to address and improve quality issues that directly contribute to the business's bottom line performance
Qualifications
* Previous QA/QC experience required
* Previous construction experience required
* Previous precast concrete experience highly desirable
* High level of attention to detail with the ability to spot defects and faults in products
* Strong analytical thinking
* Organizational and time management skills
* Strong computer literacy skills including use of Excel
* Ability to multi‐task
* Possess a real \"can do\" attitude
* High levels of enthusiasm
* Enjoy working within a team environment
* Be physically fit
* Must have full working rights within Australia
This is a full time permanent position in a friendly environment. Factory is located in Naval Base.
