About the role:
You’ll be supporting him to build confidence and independence while engaging in community activities around the Gisborne area. A calm, patient, and understanding approach is essential. He loves bushwalking, swimming, and exploring nature, so we’re after someone who shares his enthusiasm and enjoys getting out and about!
What we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting people with Autism
* Do you drive 7 seater car (preferred) as client needs to sit in the back of car
* Clients family prefer male Support Worker
* Confident driver with a reliable car
* Someone who enjoys physical activity and the outdoors
* Available between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm
* Must meet NDIS compliance requirements, including a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, CPR, and Working with Children Check
