Your part in the ongoing success of our department, in supporting frontline services will see you responsible for a variety of work, including, but not limited to :
Provide timely and quality advice and support to employee and manager enquiries, to ensure effective application of HR policy, procedures and resources.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and delivering results within given time frames
Ensure the effective and compliant use of HR systems and program governance through user training, validation of documentation, establishment management, and records management.
Maintain knowledge and awareness of HR practices, systems and resources to ensure compliance with current legislation, awards and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
Liaise and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure activities are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Contribute to HR capability across the workforce through the design and implementation of (online and face to face) procedures, guidelines and resources, including recommendations for continuous improvement.
Assist with the preparation of documentation and reports to support governance, compliance and evidence-based decision in accordance with departmental requirements.
Participate in projects and working groups to ensure outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes and meet business and client's needs.
Actively participate in team cohesiveness and capability through professional development opportunities and promotion of a positive environment with ethical practices, workplace safety, equity, and diversity.
