About the role
Roadline Civil Contractors' is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics / Asset Controller to join our team in our Broome, WA office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management and control of our fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment, ensuring optimal utilisation and maintenance of our key assets.
What you'll be doing
1. Coordinating the movement, deployment and storage of vehicles, plant and equipment across multiple project sites
2. Maintaining comprehensive asset registers and monitoring the condition, utilisation and maintenance schedules of all company assets
3. Procuring and managing maintenance and repair services for our fleet, in collaboration with our operations teams
4. Analysing asset performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation and cost savings
5. Providing regular reports to management on asset utilisation, maintenance and replacement planning
6. Supporting the planning and execution of asset movements and logistics to meet project requirements
7. Ensuring all asset-related documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience in a similar logistics or asset management role, ideally within the construction, civil engineering or transport industries
2. Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain detailed records and generate insightful performance reports
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with operational teams
4. Proficiency in using asset management software and technologies
5. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
6. Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or a related field would be highly regarded
7. Main Roads experience is desirable but not essential
8. Relocation options available for the right candidate
