Hume Doors & Timber (QLD) Pty Ltd is Australia\'s leading 100% Australian owned Door Manufacturer and Timber Wholesaler, marketing its products to the hardware, timber and building supply outlets. The company, which has an enviable reputation for quality, affordability and functional design, employs over 900 people nationally, and over 280 people across QLD and NT.
The Company is seeking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Commercial Sales Representative. The role will require cold calls, along with monitoring large building sites throughout the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers.
The successful applicant must demonstrate a professional manner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must also possess drive, a vibrant personality and the ability to deliver a high level of customer service. An ability to adjust to changing demands and adapt to travel schedules is essential. This role is crucial to our organisation as you are the link between our manufacturing facility, based in Brisbane, and our end customers.
Your role will include developing relationships with key purchasing decision makers within our industry such as hardware and building supplies retailers, helping them to understand our full product offering and the benefits of each of our products. You will be expected to be hands-on in your approach with a willingness to attend to site inspections to further our high level of quality assurance and after sales service. This will include some minor maintenance if required to rectify on-site; product training will be provided to facilitate this including a brief stint working in our factory to better understand the manufacturing process.
Previous experience within our industry and knowledge of key building products would be a significant advantage, although not essential.
This role offers a salary that is commensurate with proven driven results along with a fully maintained vehicle. This role will report directly to the State Sales Manager.
