Details: The ACT Health Directorate spends more than $70 million per year on health services which are delivered by more than 75 community organisations. We have a dedicated team that creates and administers all the agreements with these community organisations in collaboration with other areas of the directorate.We are looking for an Assistant Director to lead one of our small teams. Our teams work in partnership with colleagues in the directorate and with our community organisations to ensure the funded services provide the greatest benefit to the health and wellbeing of Canberrans and people in nearby regions.The work of our Assistant Directors is varied. They spearhead our relationship building efforts with internal and external stakeholders, while having a strong attention to the detail of the legal instruments that we create, all while supervising a small team. Assistant Directors are central to the delivery of good outcomes, not just by writing a good brief or being a whiz at Excel, but by influencing others to jointly reach goals.The ACT Public Service supports workforce diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
