About This Role
As a Key Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in our team, ensuring that production and project material requirements are met with precision and efficiency.
This includes overseeing the sourcing process for raw materials, components, equipment, and services across sites to meet quality standards and deadlines.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate supply chain logistics, track orders, chase up deliveries, and maintain clear communication on any changes or variances.
* Record and report non-conformance, quality issues, and delivery problems.
* Expedite supplier orders and maintain accurate documentation.
* Update procurement systems with accurate information such as ETA, pricing, and lead times.
* Support the procurement process from requisition to purchase order.
* Foster strong relationships with suppliers.
* Maintain effective communication with key internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
* Experience in procurement or a related field (preferably in manufacturing).
* A dynamic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a willingness to take on new tasks.
* In-depth knowledge of sourcing processes and principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA systems (advantageous).
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain effective relationships at all levels.
* Prior experience in safety-critical industries such as rail, automotive, defence, or avionics (preferred).
