About the role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our Fremantle WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods team. As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience and driving the successful growth of our pharmacy and healthfoods store.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and lead a team of pharmacy and retail associates to deliver exceptional customer service
* Develop and implement effective merchandising, marketing and promotional strategies to boost sales and profitability
* Oversee inventory management, stock ordering and stock control to optimise product availability and minimise waste
* Monitor and analyse store performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data‑driven initiatives
* Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy, retail and health regulations
* Foster a positive, collaborative and customer‑centric team culture
* Liaise with the head office team on strategic initiatives and business planning
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably within the pharmacy or healthfoods industry
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing team
* Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering sales and profitability targets
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders
* Familiarity with pharmacy and healthfoods regulations, policies and procedures
* Adaptable and solution‑oriented, with the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
