Heavy Duty Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team as a key member in maintaining the safety and reliability of our light and heavy vehicle fleet. This role is responsible for daily service and repairs, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and requirements.
About the Role:
* This position requires previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a mine site environment.
* Australian recognised Trade Certificate is essential.
* Demonstrated experience working on Sandvik Drill rigs is highly desirable.
* The successful candidate will have proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment underground.
Key Responsibilities:
* BREAKDOWN REPAIRS AND SERVICING OF HEAVY MINING EQUIPMENT
* DIAGNOSTIC FAULT FINDING ON MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
* MAINTAIN MAINTENANCE DATA ON A DAILY BASIS
