Terranova Seeds has an exceptional reputation for service and pride, maintaining extremely high client retention and continuing to grow in New Zealand, Australia, and globally.The RoleA role reporting directly to the National Product Development Manager, you will plan, coordinate and execute product development of vegetable variety trials for the Australian market.
A strategic yet hands-on role, you will focus mainly on the covered cropping market and work closely with suppliers, growers and internal teams to achieve business objectives and market demands.Product Trials: Plan, coordinate, and execute local product trials across regions and crops, focusing on tomato, capsicum, and cucumberAnnual Trial Programs: Develop and implement annual trial programs, collecting, analysing and reporting performance dataCollaboration: Work with international breeders and suppliers on trial outcomes and product selectionMarket Analysis: Monitor market trends, grower requirements, and competitor activity to identify opportunitiesTechnical Support: Provide technical support and training to sales and customer service teams including clientsRelationship Building: Build strong relationships with growers, suppliers, and industry stakeholdersRepresentation: Represent Terranova Seeds at industry events, field days, and customer visitsAbout YouWe are keen to hear from you if you have the below experience and background:Exceptional stakeholder and engagement skills able to deal with a wide range of breeders and suppliersExperience in product development, crop trials, or technical agronomyKnowledge of vegetable crops and production systems in the Australian marketStrong planning, organization, and communication skillsAbility to interpret and present technical data effectivelyWillingness to travel within Australia and occasionally internationallyA tertiary qualification in horticulture, agronomy, or a related fieldWhy Join Terranova Seeds?
