Lead Audiologist
Our team is seeking an experienced audiologist to support clients in their hearing needs. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with auditory problems, as well as providing rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the auditory problems of adult clients in accordance with established practice methods and standards.
* Provide appropriate rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate.
* Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where needed.
* Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
* Liaise with allied health & support agencies and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
* Undertake marketing / public relations activities in the community as required.
* Provide excellent customer service, manage client load and meet revenue targets.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in Audiology and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia. Additionally, you should have sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards, as well as exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme.
