Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, documenting and maintaining accurate records, and delivering high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and well-being
* Provide behavioral support and implement behavior management plans as required
* Transport clients safely using wheelchair-accessible vehicles
* Assist with medication administration and manage personal care tasks
Requirements:
* Unrestricted Australian driver's license
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification
* Individual Support or similar qualification
* Relevant mental health experience
Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to develop positive relationships with clients and support their individual needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
