About the Role
Frankston Mornington Peninsula LLEN (FMPLLEN) is the lead LLEN coordinating the delivery of funds on behalf of the Victorian Department of Education, to enable students across Victoria to travel to their VET classes in a locally driven transport plan.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Fund Administration Officer to support the administration and monitoring of transport initiatives that improve access to education and employment pathways for young people, as directed by the VDSS Transport Fund Manager.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, thrives on accuracy, and can balance independent analytical work with collaborative communication across a statewide network. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning and analysing transport data, tracking program activity, and liaising with local stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect, clean and maintain datasets using Excel (large datasets and multiple sources)
* Maintain accurate records and monitoring systems
* Produce reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
* Liaise with the LLEN network regarding local transport provision and updates
* Ensure deadlines and reporting milestones are consistently met
* Provide clear written and verbal communication regarding guidelines, processes and data requirements
* Support continuous improvement of data collection processes
* Analyse transport activity and expenditure data to identify trends, gaps and outcomes.

You are methodical, reliable and comfortable working independently. You notice inconsistencies others miss and enjoy turning complex data into clear information people can use.
You will bring:
Essential
* Advanced Excel skills (data cleaning, formulas, sorting, filtering, validation, basic analysis)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience working with datasets and reporting
* Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence communicating with external partners and stakeholders
* Strong organisational and time management skills
Desirable
* Experience in program administration, grants or funding programs
* Understanding of education, youth or community sector programs
* Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment
