About Our Client
Our Client is a leading provider of integrated services across transport, utilities, and infrastructure sectors throughout Australia and New Zealand. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality road and civil works, Our Client plays a key role in maintaining and improving road networks across regional Queensland, including the Mackay region.
What you will be Doing
WorkPac are currently seeking experienced HR Drivers and Civil Operators to join Our Clients asphalt and spray seal operations based in Mackay. Positions available include Asphalt / Spray Seal Crew Truck Operators (LR / MR Licence), Front End Loader Operators, Asphalt / Spray Seal Multi Roller Operators, Asphalt / Spray Seal Broom Operators, Rubber Duck Offsiders (Forklift Ticket), and Crack Sealing Offsiders (LR / MR Licence). In these roles you will be responsible for supporting road construction and maintenance activities including operating plant and equipment, assisting with asphalt and spray seal applications, maintaining equipment, and working safely as part of a crew on civil projects.
What you will need
Relevant drivers licence (HR, MR or LR depending on role)
Relevant machinery tickets or licences (Forklift, Loader, Roller etc. where applicable)
Previous asphalt, spray seal or civil road construction experience highly regarded
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
