About the RoleThis rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disability, including those living with mental health conditions. You’ll be part of a supportive and proactive team committed to delivering high-quality services and achieving positive outcomes for clients.As a Support Worker, you’ll provide tailored, individual support to people with disabilities in both home and community settings, as well as in our Shared Independent Living environment. The role involves travel between client locations and may include short or split shifts. Duties can include personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.Most shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday, with occasional opportunities for evening or sleepover shifts. Positions are available in Bunbury and surrounding areas.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities, including those with mental health conditions, in their homes or in the community.Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.Work across casual shifts Monday to Friday between 7 am and 8 pm.Availability required for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts, with potential to pick up additional shifts.Skills & ExperienceUnrestricted Australian Drivers LicenceCertificate III in Community Welfare, Disability, or a similar qualificationExperience working with individuals with mental health conditions is highly regardedCurrent Provide First Aid CertificateAdditional RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to undergo probity checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant).BenefitsOpportunity to work with one of Australia’s largest social purpose organisationsMake a meaningful difference in your communityHow to ApplyPlease include your resume and cover letter in one document.
