Your day to day
Responsibilities include daily housekeeping tasks for guests:
* Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
* Ensure bathrooms are clean and stocked with towels, toiletries, and other essentials.
* Replenish guest room supplies, including towels, linens, and amenities.
* Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
* Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
* Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment.
* Attend to special requests from guests, such as providing extra pillows or blankets, or arranging transportation or other services.
* Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Responsible Business
Additional supervisory and supply duties include:
* Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste and maintaining green initiatives (e.g., container recycling and cleaning agents).
* May maintain procedures for security of lost and found items.
* Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as Supervisor on duty as per Hotel needs.
Accountabilities
This position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Manager of Housekeeping.
