Hudson is seeking to engage a HR Generalist with payroll experience to provide human resources advice and payroll services to our Federal client, joining the Corporate Services Team.
This role will support a collaborative team to achieve complex procedural, operational, administrative and business support work within an integrated workforce.
Please note you must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this position and have the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
**Duties**:
- Overseeing and processing fortnightly payroll from start to finish
- Providing high quality administrative and management support services.
- Providing generalist HR advice and responding to enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administer PAYG and Payroll Taxation reporting and coordinate payments
- Administer Superannuation payments and records with company superannuation provider
- Preparation of Payroll EFT files
- Provide payroll expertise and advice to support employees and management staff
- Create and implement payroll policies and guidelines and prepare payroll reports
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and development, and associated compliance activities, including preparing employment contracts and maintaining staff files
- Maintain employment and workforce-related documentation

- Experience in business environments, preferably with human resources (generalist and payroll), governance or information management knowledge.
**System required: Experience in using Aurion Human Resource Information System (HRIS).**
