About the Role
">
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be directly responsible for managing an allocated set of assets within a base state and supporting other team members where appropriate, ensuring the overall successful delivery of the Logistics operational business.
">
Your key focus areas will include the development and continuous improvement of customer relationships, overall performance, and compliance for your portfolio of assets.
">
Key Responsibilities
">
">
1. Manage all property services and maintenance activities, ensuring effective operation and delivery of fit-outs, general maintenance, and safety/environmental initiatives.
">
2. Manage your portfolio of Logistics assets, conducting inspections, and acting as the key contact for service provider issues and landlord responsibilities during fit-outs.
">
3. Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, statutory, and internal policy requirements, including maintaining documentation, contractor inductions, and fire life safety certifications.
">
4. Maintain asset-specific risk and plant registers, contributing to risk committee meetings, and integrating safety discussions into monthly contractor meetings.
">
5. Maintain and execute comprehensive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems, ensuring that they are relevant, timely, and documented.
">
6. Oversee and coordinate contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with contracts, performance standards, and safety procedures.
">
7. Support the operational and capital budget planning, monitor financial performance, and contribute to monthly reporting and financial review processes.

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you will have:
">
">
* Proven experience in the operational management of assets, preferably within the logistics/industrial industry.
">
* Understanding of contractors and contractor management, knowledge of risk management and associated processes.
">
* An understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/WHS), and legislation, including essential services and statutory requirements.
">
* Trade qualifications (electrical or mechanical) are highly desirable, and a valid driver's license is essential.
">
* A natural communicator who is comfortable building strong professional relationships with stakeholders.
">
* Excellent project management skills and a focus on the customer experience at your assets.
">
* The ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and deliverables to time and budget while working collaboratively.
">
* Strong problem-solving, interpretation, and negotiation skills.
