The Purchasing Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by managing the purchasing and receiving process. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies. As a key member of the project team, the Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with the project manager, construction managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all purchasing and receiving activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for:
* Managing the purchasing and receiving process
* Coordinating with vendors to obtain quotes and place orders
* Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
* Working closely with the project manager and construction managers to ensure that all purchasing and receiving activities are completed efficiently and effectively
* Providing backup support for the Materials Receiver
* Tracking and coordinating pre-turnover maintenance of permanent plant equipment
The ideal candidate will have experience in a purchasing or procurement role and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
