About the opportunity
* Lead and manage a dynamic team of designers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving outstanding design outcomes.
* Supervise the creation of Energex works and plans and ensure all requirements are met to create detailed and accurate subdivision design.
* Ensure compliance with Energex standards, regulations, and guidelines throughout the design process.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, addressing any challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
* Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
* Act as a key point of contact between the design team, clients, and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll bring :
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in Energex design, with a solid understanding of Energex subdivisions and associated requirements.
* A skill in reading and interpreting Energex works plans and related documentation.
* A desire to develop strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that align with Energex standards and guidelines.
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing design challenges.
* Prior experience in project management or team leadership roles is a plus.
