About The Job
Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for the running of the food production and packaging machines. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Completing quality control testing and complying with HACCP, food safety and GMP requirements.
* Efficient and safe operation of machinery.
* Responsible for quality and productivity for the lines being operated.
* Making adjustments and low level maintenance on machinery.
* Monitoring and checking product quality and specifications.
* ISO/HACCP reporting.
* Responsible for ensuring raw materials are replenished.
* Assist in general process or production line work.
* Perform general cleaning duties.
* Follow WHS standards.
* Monitoring of product quality.
* Ensuring compliance with all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point and ISO Quality System procedures.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 38 hour week, weekend work (Saturdays) also required as requested by client. Shifts will rotate weekly.
* Day shift: 7:50am – 4:00pm
* Afternoon shift: 3:50pm – 12:00am
* Night shift: 11:50pm – 8:00am
About You
* Proven prior machine operator experience in similar manufacturing or food industry highly regarded.
* Internal GMP/HACCP training highly regarded.
* Licence and own transport highly regarded.
* Physically fit.
* Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
* Reliable with a good work ethic.
* Can provide two recent work references.
